I would like to make you aware of and recommend a geriatric care consultant group for the patients and families you see. They are geriatric nurses who have been invaluable in helping my uncle and others get through the maze of problems and paper work that burden our older patients and their relatives.
Allow me to briefly list the variety of things they have done and continue to do for my uncle:
- When he needed nursing home care, they found he had insurance coverage for that care. Neither my uncle nor I knew he had such coverage.
- They help him manage his finances, such as paying bills and informing me of questionable expenses. They kept track of his assets and informed me as they were depleting so his remaining funds could provide for important needs, such as providing for the funeral of his choice.
- When he needed to apply for Medicaid assistance for his nursing home expenses, they handled all the paper work and meetings.
- They took him to doctor and dental appointments and helped him buy clothes and other personal care supplies.
- They arranged for a compatible care companion prior to his need for a nursing home and helped us select a high quality nursing home when it became necessary.
I am particularly pleased how they care for him with compassion, wisdom, and foresight. They attend to him and his needs as their first priority. At staffing with the nursing home, they promote interventions that maintain his independence and health. They keep me informed of any changes in his status.
Working with ElderCare Solutions has offered me comfort and confidence in knowing that my uncle is receiving good care. I know it can offer the same to your patients and families.

Hi Signe,
I was down to see Al and Chrissy on Tuesday after not having seen them for some time. Diana had been seeing them on our behalf.
I saw so many profound improvements that are directly related to your involvement. It was very clear to me that Al and Chrissy’s quality of life has improved as a result of your efforts.
I arrived just as Chrissy was returning from daycare on the bus. She seemed so happy and proud coming home from her day out. She looked happy, healthy and a little plumper. Al was in his new recliner looking healthy and strong. After a while I asked him if he would show me how his walking is coming along. He used the controller to lift himself in his chair, with a little help from Ola he so proudly walked with his walker across the living room!
I saw the lift out back and the new fridge too.
I’m quite sure Al and Chrissy are unable to express their appreciation for all your efforts and direction in guiding these folks to their best potential. Without family involvement you miss out on feedback also. Just wanted to take the opportunity to share my observations with you. Knowing these clients before your involvement, and now 7 months or so in your care, I see a vast improvement in their quality of life.
